Welcome to Hands On Design

My goal is to create art that brings a smile to people’s faces and reflects the joy I had while painting and designing. It brings a smile to my face when I see a child who walks in their room and beams as they proudly point out the custom painting hanging on their wall. When I paint, I have fun with the entire process and it also is a calming and soothing experience. I hope that some of my work reflects those feelings. I enjoy creating with color, as that brings an element of whimsy and delight when I see bright colors. But working with and manipulating darker colors with watercolors can also bring a quieter sense of joy and peace, which is rewarding to me as well. I hope you find something here that will speak to your creative side and bring a smile to your face.
